Yeah the drive cycles are so far off they are not comparable... For example even the VW lupo diesel which consumes ~3l/100km, would under racing consume easily 18+l/km.. One is driving in 5th on a highway, , at low RPMs, at constant speed. the other is high RPM gear changes and throtle to the floor...

Agreed. It's using Double Endplates, so full width rear wings are back!

McNish acknowledges that they were surprised the pace of Toyota.

Cool to see! They look like exactly like the Toyota's. It's hard to tell on the right side, but you can definitely see the double endplate on the left.

Yeah, I wouldn't think they would stay when they have committed to the WEC. There's no reason to run in the ALMS all year.

They should stay so they can still say they won some races in 2013 :P

TBH, there wouldn't be much point in staying in America with out the likes of Toyota there.

Yes he did. That is why there are small mistakes (e.g., adjustment of wing will be done on inner end plate not on outer).

The R18 doesn't look a ton different compared to last year's car aside from the endplates. The nose looks much the same as the sprint nose does, and I wonder if Audi and even Toyota, if they're running the endplate extensions at LM, if they're gonna run their sprint bodywork there with a few tweaks, or they'll build a version of the 2012 LM package around the endplates and their associated changes.
