God those Chrome cars look awful. They look like the livery has just been slapped together. There's just no real design or flow to what they have done.

My fingers are crossed for what the Proton looks like. The STP Racing banner promises a lot! Hope it's like John Welch's rallycross cars....

As for the Goff car, I expected nothing less than that awful effort.

Protons are missing, that's a shame. Apart from them and Lea Wood (no engine), everyone seems to be running or trying to have a runout.

Very smart. Interesting comment from Moffat about them finding damage on the car before it had the big accident! Just as well they got it cheap from Mr Neate isn't it.

I imagine that...

The price of a 2014 Motorbase seat is significantly higher than last year. The Jackson family offered Dave Bartrum an amount below what he wanted... and left him to stew on it. Knowing he couldn't muster more from anyone else, Bartrum capitulated at the 11th hour and Mat's got the drive.

... again, just a theory of course

In any event, it's great to see Mat back.

This whole Motorbase-Jackson affair feels a bit 'we-know-you-want-us-we-just-don't-want-you-unless-you're-our-only-option'. If they really wanted to do this season together again I'm sure they'd be able to seal the deal earlier?

it will be interesting and unusual , Mat was team leader for about 4 years since he joined Motorbase and now has to play no. 2 after GIO

So Mat Jackson is back after all. He may not be good in qualifying, but he can make up for it in races. Just like team mate Gio in fact.

So it's all confirmed. Roll on Brands. 12 days to go. Let's hope the racing is at least as clean as it was last year(Snetterton R3 excluded)
