Nexus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sign on 0830

Enter the circuit via the main circuit entrance and then to the paddock; sign-on will be signposted in
Paddock two.

Hello all, just a quick question. I booked my place via the VIM website. Should I have had confirmation?

I also booked via the Vim website, a site I am not fully confident about. As peteh said, should I have received a confirmation of some kind?

Nothing ''man-made'', if you're doing fire training it can be hazardous. Jeans are suitable, plenty of warm clothing, sturdy pair of shoes/boots. Somebody there may have a spare pair of overalls you can borrowfor the day!

Same as for marshalling a meeting so for those who have not yet got overalls (and those are not required) 'sensible' outdoor clothing, walking boots or work boots or wellingtons. Wet weather gear and, preferably, a pair of leather gloves such as are sold for gardening. Nothing too clean!

Regards

Jim

PS In fact the only thing we insist on is for the practical fire training and that is suitable gloves. But we have a few spare pairs to lend out as necessary.

Food

And while we are talking about preparation, we are providing some coffee, tea and some food (soup, roll, crisps and Mars bar). If you will require more sustenance than that, don't forget to bring it!

The refreshments are courtesy of a donation from Nottingham Sports Car Club.

Regards

Jim

I thank NSCC for their support - but where's the healthy option ;-)

Just like to say thank you to everyone that helped organise an excellent, well run day. The extra numbers that attended without you knowing didn't seem to affect the running at all. If it did then it didn't show.
Personally I got from the day everything that I wanted to, & extra.
Roll on the new season.

Would also like to say thanks to everyone involved in running the day. Thoroughly enjoyed and touched up on procedures. Have got a few photos on following link. Feel free to put captions to them. http://web.mac.com/peter.heathcote/s...ining_Day.html

They were handing out forms to new marshals at the training. Di gave us the impression they were being posted out almost immediatley after as she taking some forms out of addressed envelopes to those marshals who didn't need it posting.

Does anyone know how the young lady that was in my group who got a face full of "it" is? I didn't catch her name. Did check quickly with her & she didn't seem too bad, just a couple of singed eyebrows & a bit of a tan. Hope she's ok & not put off by it.
