Peter S should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The reason we havent seem him in ERC is cos of money. He needs to sell car number two to get the budget to race in Europe. He said he still has plans to race in the European series but cant at the moment. Thw Swedish championship is the same spec as ERC, and the car is quick is just needs some more development, which he has struggled with due to lack of budget.

He entered in most of the rounds this year but travel costs prevented him from doing it. Peugeot sport sweden sponsored him heavily but they now support ronny larssons peugeot 106 maxi in division 1a so the backing will have been significantly reduced.

Jokinene actually had another 206 in 2001 which was superb. He was a regular in the A final in that machine, but that was sold at the start of the 2002 season, as a rolling chassis.

As for McCluskey then it is very highly unlikely he will have anything else but a 206

The reason why hansen is dominating is cos he is being handing it on a plate in Europe. All the other drivers are fighting to much among themselves and leaving him to run off into the distance. Pailler was the fastest man in Belgium and Holland, but just couldnt get the thing off the line. classic example in Maasmechelen during the final....there was 4 jump starts. Each one by a different driver and each time hunsbedt made a cracking start....the third one was perfect and he beat hansen into the first corner only for pailler to move. Then at the fourth attempt everyone fluffs it leaving hansen to go into the lead......the hansens gearbox breaks coming around the final corner, leaving him with just enough speed to get over the line. in Holland Kuypers just blocked everyone allowing hansen to escape again. Things will change....especially with new cars coming online next year. 2004 will be the most competitve in Europe for a long time.

...just look at the quality of the entry in Belgium and Holland..especially in division 1. I have never seen a entry list that good for a long time. Add in some Brits next year and bring it on!!!

...the reason why Martin is a miss is cos he was a wild man (and spoke his mind).....just like Paul Tracy in CART....that is the only thing Rallycross is missing.
