MG Car Club meeting at Brands Hatch 30/31 May 2009

Have at last received a list of races for this event, and as well as the usual MG series, we have some Porsches and the EuroBOSS racing on both days.

We are particularly lucky with the EuroBOSS, which for anyone who doesn't know, is a series of older F1 cars, including some Benetton, Jordan, Arrows and others, and some Champ cars (I don't have hte actual grid).

So it will be exciting meeting over two days, so if you're free and want to marshal, let me know via Julian's website or the MG Car Club web site, or PM me here.

Hope to see you there, and yes we're praying for sunshine for both days.

Clive
MG Car Club Chief Marshal

Greetings Clive, holidays booked, (work will not get in the way this time!),
caravan ready for the road to Brands, and looking forward to helping you out with the Oulton Park lesser spotted chicken leftovers!

Of course, I forgot you are south of the Watford Gap and find it very difficult to understand "Bring the Beer", so roughly translated my previous post means "YOUR ROUND" and after the PM I have received from you it will be duplicated many times!

Best meetings I've been to this year, if only to see the comedy course car at Oulton (I can sense a slap for that comment). Unfortunately this weekend Oulton is a far shorter drive, so will not be able to make it.

Apply to Clive.

Don't know about the others, but DMN are bringing about 30 cars.

usually white lines, often the width of a car plus a bit, staggered on a 2 x 2 formation, painted on the black tarmac. Well at least they were the last time I was at Brands!

If you want to come and marshal, we'd be delighted to see you. Send your details via Julian's website at the top of the marshals' forum page

I had a small feeling of déjÃ* vu from when that Metro rolled at paddock hill! Reminded me of last weekend where jean pierre Druguet rolled his elan at the masters. glad to see the driver of the Metro was ok though.
