Helio has been using the chrome horn well this year.

Wow. F-bombs on the radio from Marco after an ugly pit road exit and contact with Seebass.
Not a very clean pit sequence up and down pit road. Graham tags a crew member, who seems OK. |

Did not see that coming before the last restart - lots of incident today, trouble is I dont recognise a lot of the cars so too early in the season to follow it that well.

Good stuff, Mike Conway! Congrats to him and his team.
Bonehead of the race is for sure Helio. How many guys can he turn this year? He is up to 3 after 3 races. Well done. |

Congrats to the new IndyCar race winner, Mike Conway! He certainly can carry the British flag once Dario retires.
I root above all for Hélio, but he should get a proper fine after what we saw today. |

The race isn't being shown over here until 2 a.m. on Sky Sports 3, I thought they were going to show it live but no such luck just European Golf.
Anyway congrats to Mike Conway, especially after that crash at Indy last year; a remarkable comeback. |

We didn't have proper double-file restarts (neither a start), but there was lots of action, both clean and dirty. Who says that street races are boring? I can't imagine Sao Paulo with those huge standings full of people on Workers Day rooting for the locals!

Great result for Mike today - especially good given the Indy shunt last year. Fantastic outcome - and to think that there was a "Danica vs. Mike" thread here only a couple of years ago!

Not sure how they could get all of them bunched up out of the hairpin before the S/F line.

Well done to Mike, fantastic to see him get back up there after that crash at Indy last year.
Now he has as many wins as Danica. |

Despite huge obstacles early on Mike Conway swept it away. I didn't see that one coming. Well done to him.

I fully expect standing starts next year which will eliminate this malarchy...

Now that was an excellent race! Particularly good for a street course.
I've never seen a clean start in any series at LB. They are always strung out whether it be open wheel cars, sports cars, Trans-Am, etc. I think the leaders would have to come to a complete stop to let the field catch up. |

It certainly would be easier if they had the final portion of the lap like it was for F5000 and F1 in 1975-81 (the more open left-hander into the short straight, leading to the hairpin, and then the longer run to the start/finish line from the hairpin).
The other option would just be to have a standing start. |

Conway was awesome. I can't believe how fast he was after passing briscoe and dario. Wow.
the race was okay standing starts is a no brainer for this level on anything but an oval. not bad race though. Great finish |
