The same rules will apply to everyone. I think that design may have been completed before the final regs were set in place. I'd pick that Bridgestone sticker won't be in that spot when the car hits the track.

Testing at Hampton tomorrow

From the V8ST Facebook page;

Not doing anything late Monday afternoon? Five V8 SuperTourer drivers will be out testing at Hampton Downs in a twightlight session of 4-7pm - Greg Murphy, Paul Manuell, Richard Moore, Andy Booth and Andre Heimgartner should all be there!

I agree, too many different blues. If you want to go retro, do it properly.

And the Century logo jammed under the headlights....appalling.

Just got back from the shakedown at HD's....very exciting and the cars look and sound great.

There was the Mike Pero commodore (Murph), Orix (Paul Manual), Richard Moore and one car from AV8 driven by Andre and Andy. They also had a NZV8 there presumably something to do with the V8 Challenge cup.

Anyways, lap times were getting into the low 1.06's with another 3 hours of track time left to go.

I seriously felt like i was in Hamilton listening to the supercars on their practice rounds! the sound and speed of these things is infectious.

Can't wait now until the 10th of feb and then of course R1 on the 17th.

Moore was doing 1 minute 11's at one point, and improved to between low 1 minute 8's, high 1 minute 7's at best. They may have all had another go after I left though.

Hi Mark - Just a point, weren't these weapons doing 64 second laps? You might need to move your decimal point one place to the right e.g. Murphy 1:04.7 or 64.7 seconds in another language

The look is kind of irrelevant. It might smoke your NZV8 though....in fact, no might.

it's irrelevant comparing Murph's Supercar livery with his ST?

care to explain why?

No reason. The Pepsi car looks like tagger art - it isn't all that flash, but opinions are subjective.

The cars look great and go great and sound great.
