A little heads-up here. A Richard Lloyd Golf by Corgi Vanguards.

http://www.corgi.co.uk/shop/821/volk...ds--motorsport

Also noticed they're doing a Sierra XR4i roadcar. A chance of an Andy Rouse Sierra XR4ti perhaps?

Pretty much the same value..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OPEL-VECTRA-BTCC-1998-M-LEMMER-1-43-ONYX-NEW-/130247487341?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_146&hash=item1e535aef6d

There is another seller with both the Lemmer and Blair cars, but he always wants a lot for his. Maybe because he's from Switzerland??

Thanks for this link, very interesting. I'd like to see an Akai version and maybe a Demon Tweeks version of the Golf as well?

I'm also wondering if they'll do Rouse versions of the XR4 and Cosworth Sierra's?

Abnd for god's sake how about some race liveries releases for the SD1 they made!!

Going by their catalogue, they do like to make many different liveries of the cars they produce. There are a lot of new casts issued for the Colin McRae collection, which has filtered down into their roadcar and other motorsport collections.

Have you got any Grp 1 and Group A cars from the 80's CKM?

Or if you want to look through the whole collection

With regards to the 80s cars only the general release ones apart from a crude 1984 Rouse Rover (which I want to do again) converted from a Corgi Arum White model. Would like to do more a some point in the future but my era is Supertouring so concentrated on these first. Hoping Vanguard do the Rovers soon!

Thanks

23 of the super touring car models are conversions. I have listed the ones with the base I've used and which decals.

1991 Sugden BMW (Minichamps base with Comp 43 decals)
1991 Cleland Cavalier (Racing Replicas base) *
1992 Sugden BMW (GAMA Base with Baymo decals)
1992 Neal BMW (Minichamps base with Baymo decals)
1992 Cleland Cavalier (Racing Replicas base)*
1992 Menu BMW (GAMA base with Baymo decals)
1992 Nissen BMW (Minichamps Base with Baymo decals)
1992 Bellm BMW (Minichamps Base with Baymo decals)
1992 Allam Cavalier (Racing Replicas base)*
1992 Leslie Cavalier (Racing Replicas base)+
1993 Ashley Cavalier (Racing Replicas base)+
1993 Ashley Cavalier (Racing Replicas)+
1994 Ravaglia BMW (Minichamps base, just a change of name & no)+
1994 O'Dor Primera (Kyosho base with BBR Decals)
1994 Van De Poele Primera (Kyosho base with BBR Decals plus name)+
1994 Gravett Mondeo (Racing Replicas Base with spare name + no from a kit)
1994 Needell Primera (Kyosho Base with BBR Decals)
1995 Brabham BMW (Minichamps Base with BBR Decals)
1996 Biela Audi (Minichamps base with BBR Decals)
1996 Bintcliffe Audi (Minichamps base with BBR Decals)
1997 Biela Audi (Minichamps base with BBR Decals)
1997 Bintcliffe Audi (Minichamps base with BBR Decals)
1999 Spence Renault (ONYX Base with name from a kit)

*These decals were from a friend of mine that did them as a one off, unfortunately he is unable to do anymore for me at the moment.
+These decals were from a guy in Germany who specializes in Vectra's and did them as an exchange for a couple I no longer wanted. He has since sold the Ashley decals on ebay.

I've got another lot of kits and conversions to do but I need someone who can make/copy the decals to be able to make them (while not costing too much!)

Ah good spot that was supposed to say Hoy not Spence!

That part is from the original Racing Replicas decals that were on the car, all I have change on this model is the Number and surround and added Great Britain to the side windows.

Talking of things being any good, an ETC replica BMW 325 from '86 just went on ebay for £30 squid.

Made by Jemmpy or something, haven't heard of them.

Any good and I thought that price was steep for what appeared to be a fairly basic model with m technics decals on it?

Jemmpy are not too bad when compared to other resin kit makers such as Provence and Scala 43 and it is probably fair to say that you get what you pay for especially when you consider that the bodyshell is pre-painted for you. You will still need to paint the chassis and ancilliary parts after cleaning up excess flash but the decals are good.

Excellent PDS! The most ambitious BTCC "conversion" I've seen of yours and probably the best. Now when will you be putting some up on ebay....

Alfa Fan, it would be good if someone got hold of some of those cheap Del Prado JollyClub '82 GTV6 models and modified them into 80's TDR or Napolina BTCC versions don't you think?

We try to use the Minichamp model as much as possible as it looks better than the Spark version.
Allthough we did use the Spark model for the Turkington RAC models purely to save us spraying them orange.

I have bought a couple of bbr kits that i want building, however i am not confident of myself being able to make a top job of them, does anyone know of any pro model builders who might be able to undertake such a task?

Another excellent job Peter, I have turned a shade of green as I WANT those models!!!!

While we have gone on to kits can anyone help me with a kit I need to make. What paint colour can I use for the Will Hoy 1991 Winning BMW? I can't seem to find a close enough match. Thanks
