Are you going to leave your Caterham magnet at home?

Mazdas Caterhams and NW Formula Ford

Plus the added benefit of the first time on the bank for the most junior of the clan

Happy Birthday on the 28th to Sarah, who is coming trackside on her 16th Birthday to this combination :woot

Maybe she will decide the paddock is a safer place to be

Please remember to sing happy birthday when we get to sign on for her
And there will be cake on post as well

Are there any Mazdas left? Thought they were all wrecked in the last race.

Hope not. Scheduled finish is 18:25. Any lost time and we'll be cutting races.

I'm also missing this one disappointingly. And the next one a week later. Back for Mini's after that though!

Kaybee - you know I don't have a magnet!?

Grav - I am gutted

Richard - save me some cake!

And I hope the mazdas from Cadwell do make it out...the ones involved on Park are on the entry list!

Entries online and look good.

What a great day that was. Lots of good, close, clean racing - I even did a (little!) bit of incident marshalling.

I believe the highlight of Old Hall's day was a certain rescue unit spinning & continuing. . .

I think there might be money for a video clip of that.

Bad luck guys.

Out at Island/Brittens we had a good day in spite of the light rain for much of the morning. Decent grids; even the FFords after two thin races were amalgamated. MX5s were generally good racing with their last race being superb. That was the sort of thing which reminds me why I come to race meetings.

Thanks to the Chief Obs for helping those of us out in the sticks to be able to make a swift getaway. Something needs to be done about access to that end of the circuit and still keep numpties off the track.

Regards

Jim

I guess there speaks the voice of experience
We did at least give you a slippery surface flaq the next time round though it was almost a case of 'fall off the flag point laughing'.

Are the gold shorts the crew's new uniform? I really hope not.

I really wish I'd been there to see it!

And, Paul, I agree that gold "shorts" as new uniform doesn't work. In fact I'm having nightmares about it. I won't mention names but that image is now ingrained! You know who you are and why I might laugh when I next see you!

Just for clarity and also to stop the rumours that may sprout from this it wasn't the local rescue unit that had the spin and continue, at old hall it was a visiting unit!

The NW unit were having fun though, we retrieved a latex glove that had been blown up and made into a balloon

I am not going to name names either but I understand the same unit are back this coming weekend

So Shelagh I think you are safe from the image of the North West BRSCC unit in gold lame shorts

Sarah had a great day, the cake was shared

I must say, Richard, the balloon puppet looked fab attached to your post. We did do a small amount of proper work, too! Speaking of proper work, I'm on the bank this weekend!

And thanks for the cake...it didn't last long
