If your interested in "good omen's", my brother pointed out to me that every time Audi Sport team Joest has gone to Le Man's with start numbers 7,8 & 9 they end the race 1st, 2nd & 3th.

I don't think its a retro thing but if it is why couldn't they gone with the 956/962 Rothmans colours? no race or rally car has ever looked bad in that livery.

It may look a bit darker than it perhaps is because of being shaded by the transport trailer, but I still reckon it's more red than orange.

Which means it's not white.

Exactly! I love seeing a little more emotion. I hope this isn't simply a one off. Porsche's marketing group would be wise to play on their history, as they did with the introduction of the program itself. Color wise I would have to say that it will be less of a dark red due to no direct light in the transport. The 1970 car can be mistaken for red in similar light conditions.

I didn't think it possible for me to be more excited about the coming season, and yet.....

Because that's a sponsor livery and not a Porsche livery, plus kind of controversial one in today's advertising even if they removed the texts.

In the image it still has the shark gills, as someone on here still wanted on the '15 car.
