Sorry for not translating it, mate! Thought you'd be able to filter out the broadcasting hours even though that little passage is written in German.

Superpole session will start at 10 to 7 (CEST) this evening. Any tips? I reckon that Estre in the ART McLaren will make it.

Not a problem mate (Y)

I'll try my best to watch most of it, no doubt something will come up though!

Favor has been returned

Since HTTT
Audi - 3mm restrictor break, 10kg weight break, 5mm ride height increase
BMW - 15kg weight increase
Ferrari - 10kg weight increase
Lambo - 10kg weight increase
Porsche - 10kg weight increase
Bentley - 10kg weight increase, turbo change
McLaren - 5kg weight increase, turbo change
Nissan - 5kg weight increase, turbo change
Mercedes - N/A
Aston - N/A

I assume they still use the Audi-favoring pit window too...

Just a quick dumb question, how do they add weight to the cars? More fuel? More components? I'm curious.

ballast should be made of aluminium or tungsten bars placed somewhere inside the car.

Missed the beginning but not impressed with the ultra super car series.

The Super Pole starts 18:50 but not sure if they will stream it or not, lets hope

That's a weird timing of BoP adjustment after qualifying practice. Are they doing this based solely on race weekend data? No equipment or intelligence to do some simulation at least?
I'm a Audi fan but I hate this Audi favouring BoP maneuver. It just makes the victory, if it happens to go to Audi, pretty much rubbish.

If anyone's interested, I put together a quick car-by-car, marque-by-marque guide here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bz8r...p=docslist_api

It's not meant as a spotters guide, as many of the liveries are from other series or previous years, but that's because the photos are mine where possible. I did it quite quickly over the last couple of evenings so there may be some typos in there too.

I don't think (?) it was post-P/Q adjustment. But even if it was what does it matter, it's core mindset of that class...

Anyway - "Average viewership per event" - they must be counting every click to their site and google search and advertising visits and dogs that wander around the circuits to get those numbers

BOP was before the practice, anyway is clear that this is a pro audi bop... almost everyone else take extra kg, audi get 3mm of restrictors break and 10kg less.

The latest BoP is very clear payback for last year. So now we have an Audi on pole, 3 in the top 5 and a very good chance of Audi sweeping the big 3 24hrs.

PS, I'm surprised there's no dedicated thread for this race.
