Fiesta Si

Been looking again for cars after my last aborted attempt.

Spotted a couple of Fiesta Si's - you know the late mk3's that have the roundy bumpers which can look slightly weird, but I'm leaning towards them. Had considered Volvo's etc but currently having a Fiesta has just made me want to keep driving in a good old Ford..

Anyway, first one I spotted was a
95 M, 1.4 Si 3-dr, 57,000 miles on the clock from new and £1450ono is the asking price.

Second:
95 M, 1.4 Si 5-dr, 72,000 miles asking price was £1700ono, although it did mention that it had a few extras, eg a CD player was one, which I would put in a car if I got one anyway. Also had 15" alloys on it, are these the standard size of wheels on the Si?

Isn't the second Si's price a little steep, especially for having over 70k on the clock. My current Fiesta is a 1.4 so the injection surely wouldn't raise the insurance by too much, or would it? What about the 5 doors over the 3 doors? Any effect on insurance??

One whizzed by me this morning and boy did it look good...

im pretty sure the standard alloys are 14inch, they are on XR2i and RS1800 Fiestas.
Id go for 16inch alloys, Im told that they will go straight on without any problems.

Phoned up about them today but they're both gone. Ah well, that's what I get for being so darnt lazy..

But never mind, got till June to replace the Fiesta, I'd be happy with either an Escort or Fiesta, max engine size of 1.4 - keep the insurance down. It'd definitely be getting 16's - at least!

these are the wheels i wanted to get, to complete my car..

Team Dynamics Monza 16inch, blue centre parts and decals instead of the red shown here.

my car would have looked 10x better with them
