Great drive by Narain Karthikeyan. A shame in the way that GBR couldn't pinch 2nd in the points table, but over the season NZ deserved it. More highs, even if they were a bit inconsistent.

Very impressed by Neel Jani. Today he made the most of what he had, but all through the season he has been a class act, helped, it has to be said, by James Robinson's engineering. I hope this leads to bigger and better things for Neel.

Random fact, by the way, is that Narain has been engineered by Vinit Patel, whose regular job is engineering Atte Mustonen for Double R in British F3.

If memory serves me correctly it's the second season in a row that NZL have beaten GBR to second by one point. Correct me if I'm wrong, I currently cannot access the official A1GP site to verify (it seems to have been caught up in the Great Firewall of China these two days, was a Team Tibet announced or something?).

Yes, you're right, it was 93 to 92 last year, both obviously a long way behind Germany, but Switzerland were down in 8th.

Sorry, I know of no reason why you should have been having problems with access over there. China did really well in the two proper practice sessions (2nd and 1st respectively), not so well in qualifying (16th and 8th) and mixed in the races (21st but with fastest lap and then 4th to round off the season).

Adam Carroll set the fastest lap overall in the feature race after being delayed to have a new nose cone fitted.

Oh well better get this out of the way

Well done Jani and the Swiss for the Championship.

Nice drive from Robbie in both races but thank **** you didn't take 2nd of NZL, good try all the same.

Awesome to see Narain and India take the feature win, well deserved, you are my driver of the day.

The hard luck award goes to Adam Carroll.

Special mention to Franck, you yet again have impressed.

Jonny - These are my 1st ever harsh words towards you (hope they are the last) You seamed like you gave up. Even in the pre race interviews with Somerfield you may have said the right things but it was incongruent, there was no fire in your belly.

Putting Reid's performance into perspective, starting from 15th and finishing 8th is very good form. And in truth, New Zealand had two important goals: Beating the Swiss (highly unlikely) and not losing second place in the championship. Seeing Robbie's form and the disastrous qualifying session for Jonny, it has worked out for his team. I think we should give credit where its due in this race and Jonny pulled out a good performance to keep second in the championship.

True Jack. Please don't get me wrong, all i was trying to say was it felt like he gave up (in the pre race interview we saw in NZ) before it even started.

Just never saw that fire in the belly or did not see him drive it like he stole it sort of attitude

Always a Jonny a supporter, was just more of an observation
