Starter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kind of like driving on a TSD rally --- follow that car! Maybe they know where they're going.

Starter, no, I am not going to St Pete. I had already decided this was going to be a "home" year for me so I was planning to stick with west coast races -- counting Denver, that would have been 6 anyway, which is about right for me. Now I have changed my mind and will probably do Long Beach, *only* because I already bought my flights. Unless this SCCA thing gets resolved for Canadians I will only do the Canadian races. I haven't done that few events since 1990, but I didn't start this bun-fight either.

Yeah. CART really stuck their foot in it big time. I don't think CK has any real idea what he's doing in this arena.

I'm not sure if I'll do any CART this year (hate to miss Toronto - done all of them), but I'll reserve judgement until JoAnne & Beaux get their act together. You guys (Canadians) really are left out in the cold.

I don't envy Jim Swintal, he's got a mess on his hands. Right now I don't know if they've got enough folks to properly man St Pete.

Change can be a good thing, if it's done right. But the way CART dealt with Irene & Gary wasn't pretty.

Keep in touch with your schedule. If you want to come east for the DC ALMS, let me know.
