So, will we see an LFA? Also, won't it be weird as hell seeing an NSX, GT-R (and LFA?), up against an M3, C, and A5?

I think a coupe version of the next Llexus IS would likely be the Toyota entry, just because it would fit dimensionally and be an effective DTM entry. I can't see them doing anything to dilute the LFA's position but that's just me.

For sure, I don't think the LF-A really fits the grand tourer image really.

I don't see why it's important to fit in with the DTM 'touring' car image (which IMO now look more like GTs than TCs) when Honda will be entering a mid engined super car.
I don't think it would be any weirder seeing the LFA than something that's going to resemble this: And why do the japanese have to fit in with the germans and not the other way around? Audi could use the MR layout like Honda and base their car on the R8, Mercedes could use the SLS or perhaps the SL65 and BMW err... I suppose they could use the M6. I realize Audi and Mercedes already have racing versions of the R8 and the SLS, but so what? Nissan has two different versions of the GT-R and they have them running in the same series. Just please have them rectify the engine rules and at least let them keep the V8s, the prospect of 4 cylinder engines in this kind of cars is just so unispiring. |

In the same way the brands should be able to choose between a V8 or a 4 cylinder turbo |

The latter part would suspect to change if both series become successful with their new combined regulations. But I doubt that it would happen.

I think Honda will be alone in running the MR layout (just because the NSX). They don't have any 'sporty' cars that are FR. The S2000 was the last one and it's been gone for a number of years. If they're using inline 4 turbo's maybe Toyota enters a GT-86 turbo? It's almost two years down the road from now, I think Toyota will have a higher powered version of that car. If not my guess is a Lexus IS coupe, or a Lexus coupe in general, not probably not the LFA

On the other hand, I wish they would race in Macau but the track would not be suitable for multi-class racing. |

10 races is great, even if only 8 count towards the championship.

Can't say I've been the biggest fan of pure silhouette racing, but the fact that they (Super GT and DTM) seem to be finding ways of bringing in road technologies (And by extension the TTA/STCC in Sweden in the future) I am willing to give it a go. |

Samurai-san, what are the race distances? Is the Suzuka 1000km retained?

It would be nice if they change it from SC430 to a new model, but no they didn't do it!

According to Takuya Yura (Mooncraft),
JAF GP is a last race of Shiden. They sell off Shiden (with two 1UZ-FE engine and set of parts). http://as-web.jp/news/info.php?c_id=2&no=44787 |

Maybe an American team can buy the Shiden and race it in Grand-Am.
