I believe Jos doesn't even want to been seen near a Minardi car. With the millions of his sponsors he must be able to get a Jordan drive (if Red Bull is not interested in having a driver there as well).

He'll be lucky to get a seat at all, to be honest. Just being realistic.

True, but he'd better go to another formula and show what's he worth instead of driver at teh back for another year. Young and unexperienced drivers can prove at least some of their abbillities at Minardi. For experienced ones like Jos it's a career killer.

Actually Jos should clarify to himself what he wants from his career...

Yes exactly. Driving a Minardi will not do anything for a journeyman's reputation. I agree with you - IRL or something like that?

If CART survives I'd like too see him there, but I doubt his sponsors are interested in that (not their market). DTM would be nice though.

it's more complicated than that since Jos brings 4 sponsor there have to be negotiations about that part as well.

The situation is more like if they sign Heidfeld then they need a British driver in the seconds seat,if they don't sign Heidfeld then they still need a British driver in the second seat plus someone with massive speed an experience in the other seat.Of course in that case it can be Jos because he cetainly has the experince and...I don't want to be negative about him (yea scoring 17 points in 107 GP starts is hardly that attractive) but he was a pleasant surprise for me in 2003 he was way more reliable and fast than I thought he would.Of course he isn't in the same league with Heidfeld but if Jordan can't secure Heidfeld then Jos indeed has a chance at Jordan. No, it's all about what space on the car the sponsors can get for what amount.
and Jordan needs money and Heidfeld does'nt have it,so that leaves....... |

no dude, recently no matter what kind of money Jos has and even less matter where the sponsor's logo would fit.the ideal team for Jordan is a British and a good pilot like last year with the RF/GF duo.Jos is not that British and not that good that's the deal,he can only secure that seat if Jordan can't even afford Heidfeld who btw would basicaly drive for free

Jordan don't start the season with any first driver he always have someone like Rubens Barrichello, Ralf Schumacher, Damon Hill, Heinz-Harald Frentzen or Giancarlo Fisichella ... wouldn't it come as a bit of a surprise to continue with Jos? of course first he wants to make sure that there is no way to put Heidfeld in that seat and then perhaps...
Talking about the second seat, the B+H rule is still on (I know it for sure for some reason..) so the optimal thing is to have a British driver there. |

This guy is the worst thing to hit F1 in the last 2 decades. He is rude and arrogant, and lacks the talent to justify it. Beggers can't be choosers, jos should feel lucky that a) there are still 2 race seats he can buy, b) there are niave sponsors on this planet silly enough to get behind him. Every time I think Of Jos's sponsor's I reminded of the phrase "A fool and his money are soon parted" |
