Well Now
That was quite good racing. bit of dubious blocking in the first race by France, but no matter it was good and fairly clean and exciting.
The Feature race though, was spoiled to an extent by the Swiss pit stop. It could have been a very close finish with out the 13 seconds longer the Swiss took in comparison to France. So for good clean racing in the feature, do we really need the pit stops |

Given that the whole concept of the World Cup of Motorsport is based on team-work, I'd say pitstops have to play a part.
France did their stop flawlessly, it's up to others to reach the same standard. |

they've had enough time to get the pitstops sorted, i'm surprised everyone's not a bit more on the game.
have they still not sorted the "sticking wheel nut" problems? |

Yes, DAMS/French car looked cut above the rest once again.
Less of a margin this time, so maybe the others' are getting the hang of it. Some superb action - proving again that Sepang is a damn fine circuit. Jani v Kerr for several corners in the feature was absolutely mega, both of them gave enough room and didn't 'bottle it'. Thought Ibrahim's drop kicking Khan out of the feature race was fairly amusing! Herta showed just why he was very highly rated as a road racer a few years back as well - pulled off some accomplished manouvres. Dubai is another big circuit so should provide more of the same!! |

Some very good racing this weekend IMO, France still won both races which IMO is a bit of a pity but as has been said in this thread the others are starting to close the gap signifcantly now which IMO is vital. Yes the sticking wheel nut is still a issue at times but I beleive this is the first time it has affected GB/Arden. Lets hope Dubai is as good.
