Formulahistory should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2014 Formula 3 European silly season

My guess:

Prema Power: Dennis van de Laar, Esteban Ocon, Antonio Fuoco
Mücke: Lucas Auer, Michael Lewis (?)
Carlin: Jordan King, Tom Blomqvist, Antonio Giovinazzi, Sean Gelael
Fortec: William Buller (?), Jake Dennis (?)
Euro International: Riccardo Agostini, Santino Ferrucci (?)
T-Sport: Alexander Sims (?), Alexander Toril (?)
Van Amersfoort: Sven Müller (?), John Bryant-Meisner (?)
Ma-Con: André Rudersdorf (?)
Double-R: Kevin Korjus (?), Tatiana Caldéron (?)
URD: Lucas Wolf (?)
Jo Zeller: Sandro Zeller (?)
Signature: Nyck de Vries (?), Oscar Tunjo (?)
West-Tec: Felix Serrallés, Ed Jones (?)

Müller is now part of Porsche Junior Programme, he is out of single-seaters. While Jones and Dennis will probably be with Carlin, Mason is set to stick with West-Tec. I don't want to correct everything you wrote, though, let the other stuff be a surprise.

I think

Latifi will be at Prema
Calderon at Carlin
Gustavo Menezes at Van Amersfoort
Nissany at Mucke

I would also not be surprised if Fortec,Double R and T Sport focus "only" on British F3 (my own opinion and i correct me if i am wrong).

We also probably can remove Ma-Con from the list, 1 car out of 2 they had is advertised for sale.

What about Art Grand Prix and Tech1 rumoured to join? (project probably vanished already)

@kotkot: Jones and Dennis also for Carlin? Then that will be a six-car-line-up...

would be like if you correct everything I wrote

Why Latifi at Prema? He testet for Carlin in F3 and GP3, I'm sure he will stay at Carlin in GP3.

Caldéron at Carlin could be for British F3 I heard.

Never heard anything from ART and Tech-1 again, but I would not be surprised if Tech-1 will join because Renault is looking for another team for their engines.

Is T-Sport keeping the Nissan-3 Bound engines for 2014?

Don't think so, as there will be new engines next season and T-Sport tested the NBE engines...

Two more confirmations courtesy of autosport.com (I won't link them due to their monthly viewing restrictions) -

-Jake Dennis to Carlin
-Spike Goddard stays at T-Sport

Autosport says Carlin are set to run six cars this year! Based on previous reports, the others (after Dennis and Jones) look certain to go to Giovinazzi, Gelael, King and Blomqvist.

Sorry, got confused with Dennis, he's going to Carlin after all.
T-Sport is set to run three cars with Alex Sims and Alex Toril likely to join Spike.

Two cars line-up for the team.

We should also expect Tunjo to Signature.

Michael Lewis will be driving a LMP2 car in the USCS back in the USA.

Also, there has been a change of team manager at Fortec, following the departure of Mick Kouros & Andi Scott, Russ Dixon will now be leading the team.

I'm sure he's a very fine young driver but I really don't think that sort of move, from karts to F3 should be allowed.

What on earth is the point of all the junior series below F3 if someone can just write a cheque and bypass all his peers?

Only in motor "sport" do you get such a nonsense. The FIA should sort it out.

does'nt have anything to do with writing cheques , has to do with talent

he did outqualify Marciello in the FWS this weekend: in his first raceweekend in a car

I'm sure Marciello was at 10/10ths in a series that awards no points, prizes or anything worth more than keeping fit.

Look I'm really sorry, and I always was a Verstappen fan in the day, but this is everything to do with money and nothing to do with talent.

He may be the best driver ever for all I know, but he still should have to prove himself against his peers before jumping to F3.

This would never happen in any other "sport". It's a joke, The FIA risk ridicule, not that they seem to care anymore.

and where would this have anything to do with money?

he already drove a F3 car in a test already and was up with the fastes drivers there, he even set a new track record.

on the first day of testing, on a track he had never driven before, in a car he had never driven before.

I have made the point on here before, and was berated by some for my trouble, but if drivers had to move through the system and achieve a certain standard before being allowed to move up then it would to some extent prevent cheque book racers jumping ahead of those who have proven themselves but cannot progress.

But to achieve that the whole system needs an overhaul and each step would need to offer a prize as happens in the USA on the Road To Indy.

Not suggesting that Max V isn't talented. He certainly has a more impressive karting CV than another Max who went straight into F3 and is now in F1

As you say the FIA & others who could make a difference to all this don't seem to care anymore or perhaps its just not in their interests?

What about Jenson Button, he jumped straight from Go-Kart to Formula 3 then F1 ... nothing wrong with that . If the kid is good and mature why wasting his time in junior Formula.
