Also great to see Autolando back, the first ever BES race (re-)captured my imagination and was cheering them all the way; nice to be able to do so again this year.

Winkelhock and Mayr-Melnhof is a solid pairing as well. Depends on possible third drivers for BES, of course...

Wonder if Sandstrom will be taking the EA/Speedhunters sponsorship there with him. Some interesting combinations on there.

Good spot re Sandstrom. That EA money is tied to him so if he is with Phoenix now then we should see the EA livery on his car.

Fantastic to see Marc VDS on the list, really hope to see them back in Blancpain.

I think so, too.

Stragely enough Sandström will be with WRT for 24H @ the Nürburgring (with EA Sponsorship probably). I don't know what Phoenix is planing but I guess they will be there as well...

Hmmm that's a bit odd. You would've thought he would go with Phoenix for the N24, they seem to be the better bet.

It is a bit strange re: Sandstrom , wonder if Phoenix have factory funding for the N24 but not BES?

That would make sense eh?

I'm sure Audi would support them at N24 but with WRT being the main Audi team in Blancpain then it's quite possible that Phoenix are doing Blancpain using the EA money.

Laurent Mercier reporting that ~45 cars are expected for Monza, which would be well down on the last couple of years but might be about right to have a good, caution-free event/season. Hopefully they're fairly split between the 'classes'

I reckon that's a 'healthier' grid size than 55+. Especially for the PRO drivers that have complained about last years random nature of free laps...

With the Paul Ricard test over, it seems that SLS and MP4-12C are heavily punished while Bentley setting the fastest lap of mid-1.56.

Both Reiter (Camaro) and M-Sport (Continental) are looking for customers... maybe that's why they decided to push harder than others.

Mercedes certainly can't complain at that, they were so quick last year. General balance seemed good, Mercedes above average, Audi below average, so hopefully only minor tweaks needed.

The last two days have been the BoP test, so we can't take anything BoP related away from the times really.

Enge/Kox/T&Taxis will drive the Camaro in Monza.

Not sure if BoP results will be made public.
