kiwiracer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
let's see.. the FG is complete (although with the old engine/trans), 2 Toyotas are being built, plus a VE for Ross, Tulloch have a VE.. their 2nd car hasn't been confirmed yet.

that's 5, right?[/QUOTE]

So whos driving these things that are half built? No mention of Edgell, is he running his old car again or giving up?
And what about the 7 Others before December, wouldn't want to be getting the last one, could turn up the week before Taupo.

Both the NV8ST and the new NZV8 have a spec tubeframe chassis. The Ford, Holden and Toyota have a different length and wheelbase. In the ST topic I have seen some photos were you can see they have shorten a Holden (?) at the rear door area to make the body fit on the chassis.

The cars have also a different width. How do they fit the body panels on the chassis? Do they use smaller/wider roofs and bonnets so all the cars have the same width?

I could be wrong but i think the bonnet boot etc
are not ford and holden parts but V8ST custom made,
so just will be made to look the like the ford and holden ones but both to the same dimensions.
Would be the simplist answer....?

They are factory sized bonnets and boots.

a change of heart, perhaps ??

http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/spo...pen-at-Ruapuna

still reckon it's a co$#-up, the three SI rounds should be within a few weeks of each other to make it 'one trip south' for a series that has been predominantly NI based teams.

Yeah would make sense wouldn't it? Like the TRS idea sort of which works very well I reckon.

That's easy to say, but a lot of the these teams have day jobs and company's to run, which makes it a bit hard to do what TRS do. And repair turn arounds are a lot different for a saloon car than a open wheeler

Great Scott!

Thats classic that you can get 'replica' Back to the Future hoverboards that dont actually hover. I would buy one if they did though and maybe order a Flux Capacitor at the same time

340,000 people watched Taupo compared to 280,000 for Puke???
(I see a Tui's sign here...Yeah right!)

I'd like to see those figures validated because I think they are absolute fantasy.
