Fastest lap for the top 5 in GT is over 2:00, so I don't follow. Qualifying and race times are not really comparable.

Great race so far. This really fires up the enthousiasm for the uncoming season.

Great race for the Pesca team, sad race for Rebellion (I'm wearing their 2009 shirt) but really good to see them Vette's pull it of again. For such an old car...

Listening in to the MM stream, the HPD engine has a sound very similar to the Champcar days. Totally different engines but the end result is a 4L V8 sounding just like a smaller V8 Turbo.

How long did the 71 go on it's longest green flag stint? Are there better timing stats online than just the live timing? I'd like to see some data to help predict fuel consumption.

I don't know the Cosworth XFE had a very distinct sound, especially when moving from a stop + the blue flames added to it
