The Best car for my money today is the Fiat Stilo Arbath. Glorious sound from the 2.4 straight 5. Lots of toys. and only cost me £14,000 new.

Now the car I want is a DB5!

As we can pick anything, including ones I have no hope of ever owning, then:
-Lamborghini Miura SV
-Aston Martin DB7 GT
-Ferrari 250GT Lusso
-Any Porsche 911, though especially a 1973 Carrera
-Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato
-Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic
-Gordon Keeble (don't know why, I just like it!)

The list could, of course, go on. As for something 'affordable', a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo or virtually any 'M' Bimmer

What do you mean "Gordon Keeble, I don't know why"? I'll tell you why: Sublime Giugiaro designed body, very capable chassis and a bloody great Chevy Corvette engine. Now that sound pretty good to me!

Am glad you approve. Couldn't have summed it up better myself (which is probably why I didn't!). One came up for sale a few weeks ago, but I think it was snapped up pretty fast. Guess I'll have to keep on waiting....

Money no object (obviously)- either Alfa 156GTA or BMW M3 would be nice practical choices for everyday driving as well as good for fast drives over the mountains.
