FF1600 getting started

Hi guys, I'm considering getting into the FF1600 hopefully this year. Ive never been involved in this type of racing. Im looking for some good start up advice, like what chasis and engine would be a good first timer car? Ive looked at a good few on racecarsforsale and they seem reasonable enough for a second hand motor, its just i really havent a clue what to look for. would really appreciate any advice you can give.

Good advice from the guys above and you could pin Alan down at the HSCC stand and ask him if there are any of us HFF boys around to grill too.

If you can put up with the wonderful depths of frustrations and heights of fun FF gives you'll be welcome wherever you go I'm sure.
