What are you looking forward to in F1 2014 ?
I have been a bit negative and down about F1 lately , tyres , DRS , double points etc etc . So I am gonna try to "turn my frown upside down" and try to get some enthusiasm going . What are you looking forward to this upcoming season ?

First thing for me is seeing the new cars on track , even though I will only be watching through a TV I am hoping to get a good idea of the engine tone (sorry powerplant) I think they will sound quite good .

Kamui back on the grid , yes I know it`s Caterham but according to the BBC Tony Fernandes has threatened to pull out of the sport if things do not improve with the team . Come on Kamui get that Green "tank" up where it does not belong !

Fernando/Kimi , I dont want things to get too heated , but a little spice between the two of them , just enough so that they push each other real hard all season .

Finally, Who will get to grips with the new cars better ? The veterans (Kimi,Fernando,Jenson,Lewis) or the young guns ? Mclaren may be the team to watch for this comparison . It is a level playing field at the moment but with a fast rookie on one side of the garage and an experienced head on the other who will come out on top ?

Interesting times !!

I'm sure there'll be instances of good racing, I'm keenly interested in how the Magnussen thing will play out, the Boullier thing. Will, Kimi come to terms with Alonso, how will the politics at Ferrari unfold. The new engines, will reliability be a factor, so there is bits and pieces there that should be interesting.

The Austria race.

Simple circuit that rarely produced a boring race. No stupidly ridiculous corner after corner rubbish that separates the cars due to aero just to make it 'look cool' on the onboards like the India, Korea and Autism third sectors.

Just a great, simple little track with plenty of braking zones, straights and a couple of fast corners to make it fun for the drivers. Also looking forward to Melbourne and Montreal for the same reason.

Also, glad to see a calendar without India and Korea. Hopefully the Tejas circuit goes bankrupt and Singapore pulls the plug and we'll have a much better season.

Maybe that's the plan with mac. Get that sticking-out nose into the car in vettel's exhaust to over heat the engine and cause him to dnf
