Anybody knows what happened to the US F3?

Hi, I wonder what happened to the Us F3 that started in the year 2000. I couldn´t find any news after the year 2001 Did they disappeared? Somebody knows what they did? Thanks.

Dont think so. I know a couple of guys that live in the US. Racing in the Barber Dodge series and they said that its under some kind of shake up at the min. Should be sorted out in the next couple of weeks though. Mean while try www.usf3.com

It never got going. At one point they had a combined grid with Formula Continental (amateur F2000) and only 2 F3 cars

I heard it mentioned a grand total of once... F3 just won't work here... There's no demand for a series that shares rules with Europe or South America, and Formula Atlantic (and the pro Toyota Atlantic series) is deeply entrenched where F3 otherwise would be positioned.
