Yes I saw it. There was some great racing

I have to say, I take my hat off to Liam Doran, that was a spectacular piece of driving. While other (more experienced) drivers were spearing off the circuit Liam was throwing it sideways & keeping the foot firmly planted. In some ways he reminded me of the great Martin Schanche. If Liam can keep this sort of performance up he has got to be a good bet for the title.

Liam has had his detractors in the past (including me at times) but I think they will have to eat humble pie. He has matured, honed his skills and starts 2009 as a main contender.

Back to the TV coverage, I was very impressed. In previous years the BRxC coverage has included a lot of chaff, (crowd shots, paddock footage, & way too many interviews) This programme had just the right balance, with the main emphasis on the racing.

I thought the coverage was a lot more professional than the open series. Hay Fisher have been around a long time and know what they are doing, although I 'am not sure its one of Toby Moody's best jobs. I have always been a big fan of Toby especially on Moto GP and he has good knowledge of other motor sports but he seemed to miss his sidekick Julian to bounce off. Defenatly the best for Moto GP but maybe not rallycross.

I would make the comment that he probably would of been quicker if he handt been too flamboyant; you can see that in the last laps where he cleared up his act he was flying.

Good coverage im very impressed.
