whats the point of starting the thread if you are going to keep your opinion to yourself?

well i was thinking more along the lines of the main championship. Sorry if I have upset anyone by not expressing my opinion, so here goes. I believe that somebody from team JLR will win, they have come on so strong this year, and almost won the championship. With that, and the fact that there will not be a factory van diemen team as such, I reackon they will have a good crack. The driver - possibly Luke Hines if he races for them next year, any one elses thoughts ? Sorry Medler - i did not mean to upset anyone

I think the point that Russfeld was trying to make was that there's no point making predictions about who's going to win X when we've no idea who's thinking of entering it yet! Probably a thread best saved for the Spring...

Don't write off the Van Dieman team just yet, Jonathan Lewis, god bless him, will make sure he has a good line up and work hard to make sure his drivers are going to be competitive. JLR are a good team who can get the best from their drivers, but just because they nearly won this year doesn’t mean they will win next year. Murray won in 2001, but didn’t get anywhere near it in 2002. |

Sure, it is a liiittle bit early to start this kind of discussion, but why not? If Ben Clucas will drive, he will be a really big candidate for the title! Did you see his drive in the festival? Running over Barber, jumping over van Lagen, and still finishing fifth - what a drive! Also one who impressed at Snetterton was young Swede Hohenthal, 12th in the first race and DNF in the second. Not too bad, actually.
