Why opening this thread so early? The race is yet to begin.

It is an outrage and we have docked 50% of Jeremy's mod salary for the weekend.
A difficult decision. In the end though it has to be Webber; managing to get fourth after only starting three places ahead of that. I'm sure others will agree. |

Only 9 laps, a tad too early to vote.

Lewis. On par with Vettel despite a car that was a full second slower in qualifying.

Button for me. Average qually, bad start but made up for it with a good strategy to get a podium. Well done.

Button. Good recovery from 10th, made a less desirable strategy work.

Somehow I enjoyed Heidfeld's drive - maybe it's an 'underdog' thing. Anyhow, I've voted for him......

Button a good finish after a poor start. He showed again how good he is with the tyres.

Vettel. He did a bit of overtaking. A bit of defending. And a good bit of hard fast driving in order to get himself into and then staying in the lead, in a car that probably, in race trim, wasn't as fast as a McLaren.
Hamilton had a good race, but nothing special. Button was also good, but start was rubbish! Alonso gets my vote for 'putting his car where it shouldn't have been'. Webber was also close to getting that vote. Special mentions for Heidfeld, Di Resta and Perez. |

Hamilton excellent chase down only lost in the pits, Button and Heidfeld also had great drives.

Much as it pains me to admit it, I think Vettel shades it from LH. I think the RB was just faster than the Macca, but that was some great driving under pressure to stay ahead. They were both faultless in those last laps, and under that sort of pressure that's a great achievement.

Difficult one, just Lewis, drivers having to save tyres, more importantly fuel, too much time spent in cruise mode instead of racing. As Seb said after the race 'He's coming' and Lewis/Team could not do a thing about it, except ensure he protected his well won points

I went for Vettel. I don't think he had the fastest car in the race and he soaked up tremendous pressure from Hamilton whilst still looking cool, calm and collected.
Otherwise Lewis. To be honest I don't think Heidfeld did anything more than should be expected given the tyres he had available. |
