I don't get the point. Foyt IV is too young to be racing in the IRL. Name someone without the last name Foyt that that disagrees.

I disagree. And my last name isn't Foyt.

Well, my point was that more than ten years since these three raced against each other, they still can't play nice for long.

But as far as I'm concerned, Foyt IV, whether he has talent or not, is getting pushed into an IRL race seat too early by his grandfather, who's also looking like quite the hypocrite these days with his driver and engine choices.

What I am saying is that Anthony isn't too young to drive an IRL car. Sure, he lacks experience, but he's in the car now and he can get the experience. He's letting the pressure get to him and driving over his head. That's why he's crashing the thing so often. If he would drive at his own pace, that pace would pick up and he'd be ok. It's not like his grandfather is going to fire him if he's not quick right away, so he has some time.

Anthony has got talent all right, he would'nt have won the IPS championship otherwise. I but I agree that he is being pushed too much by his grandfather. Another year in IPS wouldnt hurt, but it would help him though. He's still very young, exactly two years older than me. He has plenty of time to learn.

This is what the IRL has a development series for.

Sure, but i don't think the formula properlly prepares drivers for Indy cars. And remember Michel Jourdain Jr came of age in Champ Cars. When he first started, he wasn't that fast or experienced, but he learned, now he's winning races.

Uhm, it shouldn't take you 7 years in Champcars to learn to drive the damn thing even if you're fresh out of karts.

Michel's a nice enough guy, but... You don't go from zero to hero unless the competition thins out considerably.
