7 for me, mainly on the basis that it wasn't the usual bore that is the Spanish Grand Prix. Plus I didn't find myself bored and counting down the laps at any point. Having said that I watched it in two parts, not all in one go.

7 from me, the race in itself was above average for Spain but the tv coverage was ordinary perhaps they're not used to so much action. There was very little coverage of the battles behind the leaders, even the pit action was only focused on the leaders.

7 for me. Quite interesting.
Not sure what F1 can do after reading some of the comments above. People want overtaking, so F1 change the rules and we get overtaking. Then same people say they don't like the artificial rules that enable the overtaking and we should go back to the good 'ole days, when, er, there wasn't any overtaking. FFS people, if you want overtaking without artificial aids so much, watch club racing. Of course, the same people are REALLY looking forward to Monaco, where its impossible to overtake at all (but it will be interesting to see if DRS makes a difference). Face the facts people, Monaco is the worst race on the calendar, unless you are a driver there, when I'm sure it's a right laugh - but to a spectator - I'd rather eat my own testicles.... |

7 from me - reasonably enjoyable and definitely the best from Spain in a long time.

7 from me - kept me entertained throughout - although DRS seemed a waste of time, and it was as well that Red Bull seem to be unable to get Kers working.
Some real commitment at times, and a bit of excitement towards the end |

Hello all! I'm new to the site!
Thought this weekend's GP was good but not great. Thought Button drove superb after dropping down to 10th on the first lap and Hamilton was awesome as per usual. Still think it's weird though how top teams are now getting lapped! The new tyres have no doubt spiced things up a bit but I also worry that we're in danger of seeing pit stops hitting more than five per race which would be too many for me! |

The hard tyre is too slow. The gap between the two compounds needs to be around 1 second, not 2.5 seconds.

I wasn't in the best of moods yesterday so I thought I would wait until today before rating the race.
The result is still 5. Yes, it was the most exciting GP at Barcelona in years, but it was all so contrived. Is there no way we can have a decent race without the tyres being too hard and the KERS and DRS systems only working intermittently? |
