Even if it does make it, I'm worried about the reliability of the car.
Not many of these late debutants do well... |

Shame many of these cars get in without having driven before. I like as many different entries as possible but they should be reliable and tested.

With LMP1s there's the issue that there aren't that many places to get their first runs prior to Le Mans - but I'd be that bit more hard nosed with LMP2s. Even with a package that seems to be progressing well (e.g. the Ligier JPS2) pushing them to run before Le Mans seems sensible - especially with the additional option of running at Imola if time is running short. |

Satoshi Motoyama completes the Nissan Zeod RC line-up.
http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=...d&e=78b03f34fc I'm guessing that after last time he will be looking to stay away from Toyotas during his stints. |

He deserves another drive at Le Mans, his deltawing ending was heroic, but sadly it came to a retirement.

It looks like Jan Charouz has Praga'd his way into the Sebastien Loeb P2 entry at Le Mans.
He's bringing budget, so Laurens Vanthoor is getting booted out. http://www.endurance-info.com/fr/lau...n-loeb-racing/ Real shame but I suppose better than them withdrawing again. Vanthoor will still apparently get his 10 laps at Test Day. |

yeah, that's a huge shame for vanthoor. the only thing charouz was ever really recognised for in single seaters was bringing some czech brolly dollys with him.
glad to see the deltawing guy is back. he's like a walking talking embodiment of the le mans spirit. |

I read about Vanthoor having to give up his seat for a funded driver and was wondering who it could've been. Oh well at least Charouz has some talent, could be worse I suppose. Much disappointment about Vanthoor not getting a race seat at LM, would've liked to see his speed in GTs transferred to a prototype. |

So Muscle Milk lodged their interest in Le Mans - got an invite - cancelled it in order to concentrate on TUSC - then permanently pulled out of TUSC after 2 races.
Bet they wish they had a LM entry to keep them busy right about now... http://sportscar365.com/imsa/tusc/mu...-tusc-program/ |

I imagine all those who have been laid off are wishing something similar.

What will become of the chassis? I guess an entry at Austin is wishful thinking...

All seems to point to them not knowing, if they have made layoffs then they aren't specifically planning for anything right now.

DSC just reported a withdrawl that will be named in the next few days , and went on to mention that the next car on the reserve list will be the IMSA 76 Porsche . So It must be a GTE withdrawl .
Wonder who that might be ? |

Judging by the current geopolitical situation and effects on motorsport funding that it has had so far, I'd say SMP's GTE-Am entry.

If so, will there be more trouble for Russian backed drivers and teams? Probably so...

Bruno Senna now apparently confirmed with Turner and Mucke in the #97 Aston, and not the LM-only #89 extra car.
According to AMR's John Gaw, they're in no hurry to confirm drivers for the #89, but have plenty of good drivers to choose from- Names mentioned include Richie Stanaway, Dane Cameron, Jamie Campbell-Walter and British GT Aston drivers Jonny Adam and Richard Abra... http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/s...iday-notebook/ |

Have JMW confirmed drivers for Le Mans yet? I assumed the pull-out would be SMP but if not I think JMW look most vulnerable on the list.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/113349 I originally took that to mean they'd got a separate deal for Le Mans in progress, but perhaps not... |
