The official website doesn't mention Barber, Mosport, New Jersey, Sears Point, Brainerd or Miller.

12 rounds sounds like a lot, but each class will only do 7-9.

GT-A is an amateur subclass, but I thought it would be contested on all GT rounds. I haven't heard anything about TCA.

GMG And Black Swan Entered into 25 Hours of Thunderhill

Kind of related to the thread, I guess. Looking at the entry list to this years NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill, Black Swan has a Merc SLS GT3 and GMG has 2 of the R8s entered for this year's race on Dec 7-8. I assume these are their world challenge cars. The other really interesting entry is the Audi TTRS that was their last year, I believe it is one of only a few factory build racing TTRS's. It's front wheel drive I believe, and was really quick last year before breaking after 5-6 hours. www.nasa25hour.com If you live near northern cali, this is a really cool event with great access and lots of pro drivers who make the trip.

Probably more so than the GT3s, seeing how they are campaigned by factory or factory supported teams rather than mere privateers.

I would assume so. They were very competitive this year against the crop of GT3's in the series so not sure why that would change.

The car diversity, quality and competition level (ie: drivers) in PWC is going to be much higher and deeper in 2014 than it was in 2013. Should make for a very interesting season...

I heard Volvo isn't coming back next year, but I'm not sure how much weight to put behind that. The Volvo and Cadillacs are definitely competitive with the GT3 cars.

The list of manufacturers here would support the 'no Volvo' theory. Still looks like a really impressive year though.
