Must agree Joyce some very good racing.
Mind you have got another one to add to the list of drivers excuses.
Wrong type of grass.
This is what we were told when we went to pick up one driver for a check up, after he had got onto the grass and nudged the tyre wall

Thanks to the folks in orange, there certainly were plenty of you about yesterday!
If anyone picked up the other half of my front spoiler (Blue with white stripes MGB GT) that I lost after I'd carried far too much speed into the entry for goosneck and decided the grass was the better option than attempting the corner, can they post it back I'm sure it'll tank tape back together. LOL

Another great meeting. I'm sure that some of the 'higher' formulas could learn from the MGCC about how to run a meeting.

Thanks to all.

Yes, thanks to all involved on Sunday (and Saturday too). I had a great time on Sunday afternoon once everything had dried out nicely. Really enjoyed myself, again.

That was my last race for this season. Thanks to all the marshals who've turned out in all weathers for the meetings this year. See you all again next time round...

Thanks for all your comments folks. I am glad that you enjoyed the day. The large number of Marshals that turned out to help us was fantastic, in fact it was the highest turn out for a car meeting this year at Cadwell. With that number of you watching and waiting, we had to get it right.

However, a Captain is only as good as his/her Team, so as you were all brilliant in what you did to make this event happen, it had to be O.K. We could not do it without your input and co-operation. So the MG Car Club thank you for the support that you gave on Sunday, for yet another successful meeting.

Did my predictions at the Briefing manifest during the day ? Of course they did ! I told you we would start at 09.00am and we did, I told you it would be fine all day and it was, I told you there would be a good lunch break and there was, etc. etc. To all of those that laughed, trust me next time. Just because you did not need sunglasses to drive home was only one little thing that was not quite what I predicted.

Once again my grateful thanks to you all.

I'm not telling either.

Had a good day, nice and dry, apart from the wet boots from Saturday.

I'd like to second (or third, or fourth..) that. I've been to a few good meetings this year, but I think that one was about the best in terms of close racing. And it was all pretty clean (except for the last race of course!).

Yes, superb meeting; as I said on Mike Holme's thread, this was one of the best meetings I've been to in 40 years of spectating, so thanks to everyone involved in making it so.
