TGF How would you all feel if
How would you all feel if Michael was British instead of German?

I'm not sure the exact meaning of this thread but all I can say is that I'm glad MS is not British otherwise he'd be even more over hyped and overrated than he already is!
I for one wouldn't feel any different about him. |

How about if he was Egyptian?
If he was British, he would be a Lion supporter, one of the Red Brigade, and he would probably have been here in Melbourne to watch the Lions get thumped last Saturday. How about if he was Egyptian? Surely that would be more interesting!

I have to agree with Blackjack - a stuck-up dishonest overpaid cheat is a stuck-up dishonest overpaid cheat wherever he is from.

Spot on Minardi Fan. I would feel exactly the same about him. His nationality has no bearing on my views on his ethics.

Right on Angst - Just look at Mansell!
Whoops, leaves room as bad smell permeates and people look in my direction. |

THIS MAY sound offending...
but truth is...if TGF IS a british...the load of biased anti-Schuey craps on this forum would be halved at LEAST... And it really doesnt matter...A german driver might cheat...but hell...British drivers aint all nice and innocent too... |

Trying to deflect attention away from the fact that he is a dishonest, dishonourable cheat by dismissing a nation as xenophobes is another of his pathetic ruses. I don't see too many people attacking Heinz or Ralf, I don't remember anybody having any problems with the late Stefan Bellof. And if we're talking about multiple winners, the likes of Caracciola and Rosemeyer have a great deal of respect from alot of British motorsport fans.
As a Brit myself I can safely state that I was never much of a Mansell fan, didn't like his constant griping. Nationality has nothing whatever to do with it. |

Yepp...nationality doesnt really count much...but i am just wondering...how did Michael cheat to his best WDC in 2000...?
Its not that British are biased against their own drivers...its just that they amplify their dislike for other drivers who beat their own and start being disrespectful to them... And before you think that I am a pro-German...sorry..but though i prefer to visit Britain that Germany...and i am very very fair and just regarding nationalities... |

I'll say it agian. Nationality has nothing to do with it. Zero, zilch, nought, nowt, FA.
One individual whom I view as the most dishonourable, dishonest sportsperson I have ever heard of. If he was British, French American, Australian, Brazilian...whatever I would feel exactly the same about him. Is here something I am saying here that is in any way too ambiguous to understand? |

I am British, from London and I would be proud if Michael were also...The fact that he is German makes no difference at all.. he could be from the moon for all I care about his nationality...He is the best pilot at this time, It's the truth..ask any Formula1 driver!
We need to get off this guys back.. |

I wouldn't think different about Michael Schumacher if he were British, French, Columbian, a Laplander or whatever.
It's not about were you're from, it's what you are. I live closer to the German border than most of you and there's nothing wrong with being German! |

TGF said yesterday that the Poms don't like him. If that is the case, then the Poms hate the Aussis after the Rugby and Cricket tests, and did you notice they were reduced to cheering for Goran at Wimbledon, and cheering whenever Pat Rafter lost a point. The Poms were even whingeing that the Ausiis were too rough with them at Rugby, but they forgot to mention the late shoulder charges they made on Stephen Larkin after the latter passed the ball.

If TGF were British, then Murray would mention his name 100% of the time, not just the 50% of the time he is not mentioning Jensen Button's name.
On the other hand, if TGF were British, he would be driving for McLaren. |

Look at all the ppl who like Senna but dislike Michael, even though both guys are of the same breed. Only difference is that one drove for the british teams (Mac/Williams) whereas MS drove against them his whole career (Ben/Fer). One is also German and the other is not. |
