FoS & Revival 2008 Provisional Dates

This info from Goodwood, where I work so I know it's true.

The dates for the 2008 Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival have now been provisionally agreed as follows;

Festival of Speed: 11.12.13 July 2008

Goodwood Revival: 19.20.21 September 2008

Although unlikely to change, the above provisional dates will be confirmed once the 2008 Formula One dates have been ratified in early December.

That really is a late date for the Revival. Bring your long-johns. It's also after the kids go back to school, so that's seriously screwed up our plans as it takes us 6-hours to get there. Blast it!.

Experience, mainly. This year was fine, but the nearest I've ever come to hypothermia was one year at Fordwater where I was soaked in a sudden squall and the wind nearly finished me off. Despite global warming, I'd have to assume that 2/3rds thro September, the risk of an on-shore wind blowing a few coldlets over the proceedings is large. Perhaps I'm just a northern puff.
