Mid season fire training at Oulton
Does anyone know if you need to volunteer for the race on Sunday 27th July if you are attending the mid-season training?

It's not essential, but is usually the case because of the need for admission tickets.
I'll be organsing the training, so send me a PM if you need more info or help. |

Yep!
Can't imagine anyone just wanting to come for training and not then stay for the racing! I'm doing this training too.......about time I had a refresher, even though I have used a bottle in anger twice in the last 3 seasons! Even though I'm an Exm Observer, it's great that the Club is recognising that in this era of multi-tasking, Observers and Flaggies can benefit from a bit of training. |

I've put my name down to marshal at the racing on the Sunday for the Touring Cars.... does anybody know if I have to put my name down seperately to do the training in the morning?

Yes Robbie - you need to either email Andy Holley at BMMC North Region or possibly send a PM to Flying Muppet. (One of them will get it!)

Just in case it is unclear, even though you may have volunteered with BARC for the BTCC meeting at Oulton Park, if you wish to attend the fire training you must volunteer for this separately - otherwise I have no idea how many people I need to cater for.
However, volunteering for the fire training is easy - just send me a PM or e-mail, along with your name (the proper name - not your 10/10ths tag), address, MSA number, and I also like to know whether you need the training for an upgrade - so that I can prioritise... Please don't just turn up without warning - because you may be out of luck! |
