There's also issues regarding signage that would be almost impossible to fix.

Doesn't leave room for the Clipsal 500, that and the fact that V8SA has approved the preferred Clipsal dates of March 11-14 for 2010.

No misprint. A negotiating tactic for sure but nothing misguided about it.
TC knows exactly what he's doing and once he's finished mauling the Western Australian taxpayer it's on to Sandown and another hit at us in Victoria.

At this stage not even the teams know what's going on except that the two Middle East races to kick off the year are definitely on.
They have been told though that any plans to book travel or accommodation for Bahrain this year should be put on hold pending an announcement within the week.
Certainly the guys at Kelly Brothers were expecting to be back at Winton come November.
BTW there was a really good turn-out for the Kelly Open Day, we were there to interview a Mr Collins who is a very nice chap and told us all about his race career, his future V8 plans and the fun he has on his other "job"
It's on this Tuesday night, highlights and full interviews with Rick Kelly and Jack Perkins also coming up in the In Pit Lane podcast, probably this Thursday night.

With respect (whatever that might mean) they have been prepared to spend money to improve things, WA on the other hand have not

and TC should be using his powers to get the tracks upgraded if he can. the WA government have been slack in improbing this track, 5 years to improve things and they have only paid lip service

So Clipsal chimes in as Round 3 some time later in March. So Aussie fans don't get the opening two rounds of their own series....

Now what happens with Bahrain this year....when are the public to be told (or the venue for that matter) or is the round scrubbed all together? Such incredible organisation displayed here...

Don't bother asking the teams, they are raking in the cash big time with this decision so you won't hear them whining about it. All about the money boys!

yes if there is a crash victim and the car is heavily damaged that could completly **** someone's championship.
