From what I read (in the newspaper) it was a social meet/drive only, not an "event"

NDSOC have a code of conduct that all members must abide by when on official club runs etc, so he's bound to be given a serve by the club (if he isn't kicked out permanently).
The guy could also be charged under the CAMS constitution for bringing the sport into disrepute because 1) he has a CAMS licence and 2) elected to use the excuse 'I am a race car driver I know what I am doing' to justify his speeding. Methinks he might find himself in even more hot water in the coming weeks..... |
