Bathurst 24hr

I am keen to know if anyone here shot at the 2003 Bathurst 24hr? (australia)

it was my first event taking photos, and i loved it.

Seriously though, 50+ of them are good enough for public viewing.

Hah. i'm still laughing about the camera...

it is an $800 Sony IXUS V3 3.2 Megapixel, with a 32mB card.

Cheap-as, no lens, 2001 technology...
does do good night photos, with a 3sec exposure time...
Awful reflex but. I had to hold the button and pan with the car for like, 2 seconds for it to work.

I know hardly anything about photography compared to forum users here. I was with a team, and i had a pit pass+ media accreditation, so i had fantastic access to a stunning race...

I got lucky with a few shots, that's all.

i've got some. unfortunately there pretty ordinary due to me leaving my charger in the hotel room some 50km's away and we where there for the majority of the 24hrs.
