Bathurst 24hr
I am keen to know if anyone here shot at the 2003 Bathurst 24hr? (australia)
it was my first event taking photos, and i loved it. |

Seriously though, 50+ of them are good enough for public viewing. Lots of time-exposure night shots, lots from pit lane, and 20-odd of an accident: |

Hah. i'm still laughing about the camera...
it is an $800 Sony IXUS V3 3.2 Megapixel, with a 32mB card. Cheap-as, no lens, 2001 technology... does do good night photos, with a 3sec exposure time... Awful reflex but. I had to hold the button and pan with the car for like, 2 seconds for it to work. |

well, if you can take nice photos with an average camera you must be doing something right.

I know hardly anything about photography compared to forum users here. I was with a team, and i had a pit pass+ media accreditation, so i had fantastic access to a stunning race...
I got lucky with a few shots, that's all. |

i've got some. unfortunately there pretty ordinary due to me leaving my charger in the hotel room some 50km's away and we where there for the majority of the 24hrs.
