Call me stupid, but hasn't Kerr gone backwards, seeing as he was in British F3 and is now in Formula Renault V6?
Also - can someone explain to me please the difference between FRen V6 and British FRen? I don't really understand the differences. |

The first FRV6 race of the season is LIVE on Eurosport tomorrow morning at 10.30 (our time). It's the longer race (21 laps) with the GP start. Sunday's race is after the ETCC's 2nd race and is 14 laps with an Indy start. I don't think that will be on live.

Do they work on the basis of the best time from both sessions, or is it one session per race?

Robbie came 8th. an exciting race, he was in contention for a win in the early stages but his brakes went off, he had a spin and so fell down the field. Lots of drivers struggling on cold tyres and spinning off. Good result for Ryan Sharp in 3rd as well

i must also point out that ryan sharp spun at the second corner and seemed completly out of it untill half way through the race he just seemed to re-appear from no-where, i'm sure ryan will be delighted that he managed to get 3rd after the spin!!

Yep, fully agree! The commentators had him out of the race! He must have set a stunning pace because he rejoined near enough at the back and rose to 3rd! He was lapping quicker than Belicchi during those final few laps! I'd never watched V6s before but they sure were entertaining!

There arent too many 'name' drivers in the series, but thats a respectable grid gap. 16th @ +1.3 is good at a place like Monza

From what I saw of the race I have to admit, it was pretty good. But then u normally expect good racing from Monza. Hopefully the next round at Valencia will be as good as the first round.
