2014 Formula One predictions (Time capsule)

Time to look into that crystal ball folks. Have a stab in the dark, or an educated guess. A maximum of ten predictions per forum member please, so make them your best.

This thread will be frozen on Thursday 13th March 2014, a day before the Australian GP, and will be re-opened on the 24th of November 2014, a day after the final GP in Abu Dhabi. Let's see how wrong, or right you are at the end of the season.


Here's my stab in the dark for 2014.

1. Lewis Hamilton will be World Champion.
2. Fernando Alonso will announce he's moving to McLaren in 2015.
3. Hulkenberg will move to Ferrari in 2015.
4. Daniel Ricciardo will not win a race.
5. Jenson Button to announce his retirement from full time driving.
6. Magnussen will win a race.
7. Williams to have one of their best seasons in recent years.
8. Bottas will finish ahead of Massa.
9. Lotus will finish 5th or lower in the WCC.
10. RBR will finish 3rd or lower in the WCC.

If anyone of the Moderators could help with the closing and re-opening of this thread on the said dates, that would be much appreciated.
