jvilleneuve2000 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Does anyone know if the f3000 mini series is still going to happen?
Does anyone know the dates?

JV - you might want to try Lee Purnell and his crew at the Other Classes forum for this.

I had heard suggestions a month or two back of a four date series in September/October which would be at Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington.

As far as I understood the F3000 teams were fairly interested but I've heard nothing since.

Anyone else know anything?

latest update:

The start of Formula 3000's England-based Autumn Cup has been put back a fortnight to September 24 when it is due to kick off at Donington Park rather than around Brands Hatch's Grand Prix circuit this Sunday as originally planned.

This decision gives the teams more time to finalise their driver line-ups, but it also reduces the number of rounds from four to three, with the subsequent rounds at Brands Hatch on October 1 and at Snetterton on October 8

Among the teams who have pledged to enter cars for the Autumn Cup series are Fortec, Astromega and the Red Bull Junior team, but the McLaren junior team has withdrawn as it had planned to contest only the original first and third rounds with Tomas Scheckter and now considers it now worth taking part in just one race.
