Anyway, I'll catch up with you at brekkie!!!

Careful Steve - there'll be letters you know!!!!!

On a more on topic note, is it worth arranging a meet up at the Kentagon?

Not all of us will be staying at the circuit and there's a lot of people I'd really like to meet who will be at this?

And yes I know the Kentagon sells food, but, alas the last few times I've been there there has been nothing on the menu that has appealed to me.
Farningham (only 1 mile away) has a good little Indian restraunt that does takeaway. Bit closer than the ones in Swanley that Dan suggests.
Back towards the M25, turn left at the King's garage roundabout, 100yards down the road, right at the T junction. Just a few feet after the junction. Parking a bit iffy. 3 pubs as well, 2 of which do food. 1 has big car park.

Although you and the Kelly are good friends of mine, having seen you working together, I never, never want to be on the same post as you.
In fact, I don't even want to be on the post next to you.

Stephen take note, in this case I am asking for special treatment (special needs, see) 13a sounds nice... nothing ever happens there does it (look up yr history books kiddies)

To the letter writers
THIS IS A JOKE, if in fact it does happen it is purely coincidental
now where's me white jacket that buttons up the back?

It's Mike's fault. He's a magnet. I didn't do anything - even when he hid behind me so the debris would hit me instead. I was getting to the stage where the yellow was going to be used like a baseball bat to whack stuff back out onto the track!

I am sure Mark, Dee and I (Kath and Dan if they are playing) too will all pop to the Kentagon for a couple before retiring to the awning to get leathered before bed.
Roll on next weekend. Working this one so can't play.

Sorry Alasdair, but I borrowed it after the 1st MSVR meeting and we had to use the Manitou dragging cars through the gravel backwards and uphill !!

Will return it to you this weekend so you can use it before A1GP

Anyway, off to Rockingham shortly to see if the Clios roll as well there

& put the lurkers on post 25

that leaves about 1/2 a dozen for the rest of the circuit..

Have fun at the roundy roundy place with twiddly infield bits and professional racers, I'll be "enjoying" a 2 hour CV "race" at home - quite the opposite I think.

Depending on your tastes, go to West Kingsdown Village (turn left Main Gate down the A20, second main turn on the left (new flats on the corner)], there is a parade of Shops, excellent Fish and Chippy! Also about two doors up there is a Butchers that opens about 0700 hours and will supply lovely, succulent Baguettes filled to your choice, and also Sausage Rolls, Pasties etc, all fresh.
For the basic items , also a small Co-op store for Toilet Rolls etc you forgot.
All, really, within walking distance from the Main Gate on a lovely Spring Evening!!!!!

I'm staying off circuit and have to do a mad dash up to Brentwood train station to pick my son up at 19:30 on the Friday so meeting up for a beer or two on Saturday straight after racing ends would be good.

Missing information

My tickets and information have not come through the normal marshalling channels so can some kind person tell me:
  • What time sign-on is on the Friday
  • Where it is (usual place in the paddock cafeteria?)
  • And where we are supposed to park (not camping).

Many thanks.

Jim

(In return I could tell you all sorts of Supplementary Regulations type stuff and when to sign-on if I was a driver. )

Made me laugh seeing the advert on television last night. Prices start from £29 & no mention was made that the title had already been decided. Nice one J.P.

Do they do that when any other titles have been decided, it is called advertising....
We moan that gate numbers are down and that no one advertises, JP advertises and you criticise.

Not to mention that we are in the 2nd/3rd place fight
