Here is AVESCO at it again. Using figures plucked out of the sky telling us how many people will watch the V8 Indy race this year. There is a great difference between the number that can watch it and those who actually do but that doesn't seem to come into AVESCO's calculations. Now if Champcar did not in the future come to the Gold Coast would V8 Supercars even get that coverage. I seriously doubt it. TC is just riding on the Champcar figures hoping to impress us mere mortals |

I think quiet funny actually, at last at the F1 superboat Race on the Gold Coast the Mayor one Mr R.Clarke said that the F1 powerboat race was more a spectacal than Indy. What would Aussie Bernie say about that.

Pete, take your blinkers off, that article has got nothing to do with AVESCO, its about promoting the Champ car race, show me where AVESCO or TC is quoted ?

Firstly it is a V8X article ( i thought they covered V8's). Secondly what is the point of running it in that mag if they were not highlighting the V8 Supercars aspect of that story. Finally i would think that AVESCO would be behind the release of those figures.
As well as those points it just carries on from AVESCO's previous release of figures that no bearing on reality. |

I haven't looked but my guess is that it will appear on the V8 Supercar site if it hasn't already.

All it is saying is that the Champ Cars will be on Speed and Eurosport, which go out to an awful lot of households north of the equator. I don't think the V8s will be shown bundled together with the champ cars. Why is it on the V8x site? Dunno, probably a slow news day and they are on Crusher's mailing list..
