It'll be on Motors.

For his Lap times, You can pretty easily add Peter Kox to this List, if you forget he allways pairs with amateur drives that ruin his races...

The UK TV broadcasters will be the same as last year according to GT1 facebook, also streamed live on Youtube.

No news from ford at a week to the start, I don't want to see my home country once again as the new Hrt here. Moreover, here they don't have De la rosa to mend it.

Online car culture blog Speedhunters is sponsoring WRT in FIA GT, Blancpain, Spa and Nurburgring 24hrs this year (Edward Sandstrom who used to race for Shubert who were sponsored by Speedhunter's owners EA under the NFS banner is racing for WRT this year in Blancpain AFAIK). This should be good as in previous years with Schubert we should get some good behind the scenes coverage of the team and the championship along with some great photography.

Porsche exim bank livery will be Ctrl+C + Ctrl+V of last year vette as comented beffore, Reiter getting sponsors, and a nice clock remembering 2010 LP670.

From the article of E.Info, this is the livery of Vita4one:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/neuwies...n/photostream/

Seems the car didn't arrive from VLN on time to the nogaro tests.

Also, today we will know the final calendar, that sadly loses the San Luis round.

Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof proved to be even faster sometimes than AVTuT so in my view it deserves the car.

Now I can understand the Andy soucek move, Spanish driver at a spanish engineered team under indian banner, It's a good driver GP2 Superleage formula, F2, nobody lies here.

I don't see where has gone wittman, so they won't have in the end an BMW works driver?

Also i forgot to remind before that tomas Jager is an Mercedes AMG works driver, so all inkl it's basically 2011 All inkl without Dominik Schwager and + an AMG driver (AMG is more or less behind All inkl).

Well its not a terrible lineup, but far from what it could be as the 'premier' GT series.

6 Factory Drivers: Vilander, Parente, Jarvis, Stippler, Kox, Jager

A host of Good GT and ex single seater drivers, standouts being: Makoweicki, Ortelli, Enge, Winklehock, Pizzonia, Zuber, Souceck.

Aside from that..........

Well they had a couple of excellent tracks, in San Luis and Zandvoort, but SRO seem to have decided that they were a bit too nice and the focus should instead be on the manufacturer involvement and top quality drivers, it seems, so they're out and Slovakia Ring and Korea are in, due to their enthusiastic love of GT racing, I presume.

6th - 9th April: Nogaro, France

20th - 22nd April: Zolder, Belgium

26th - 27th May: Navarra, Spain

8th - 10th June: Slovakia Ring, Slovakia

6th - 8th July: Algarve, Portugal

I want to slug Ratel for dropping Potrero de los Funes, and that's just stupid having Moscow in between South Korea and India. It is annoying that Zandvoort has also been canned.

Speaking of South Korea, the date isn't all that far from when F1 is supposed to be there. Are we going to be seeing an announcement soon that this year's F1 calendar is down to 19 events?

Probably, but if there is such a thing in the next few weeks, it's probably not going to be due to Korea being canned.

F1? What is this F1 that you speak of? :P

I read somewhere that Regional Government issues threw San Luis out the window. A shame.
And the jest is on Twitter, with Marcel ten Caat, John Dagys, et al joking about how this is still a World Championship since they only go to Europe and Asia now. Either FIA will con everyone into accepting it's still a World Championship or, as Marcel suggests, 'my' Portuguese round in Portimão, will be 'transported' figuratively speaking to Morocco. Oh, wow, it's an 'African' race.

Sorta like how Dijon used to be the Swiss GP in that thing you call F1

Gt1 will reach is lower point this year...
Calendar - 0
Drivers - 2
circuits - 0

And I'm wondering what are doing the poor drivers who will contest on the fia gt3!!!
Same bas tracks, same day, same cars... just to pay the entry fee and race on the worse circuits on Europe...
