Upside Down Bug should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
MSA BRC Highlights

The 2004 Championship season is over and Dermot retained the coveted GB1 plate. The Championship has visted every corner of the UK, and at times has been contraversal and at times difficult to say the least. But what have been your high points?

For me it has to be Dave Bellerby's come back win at Croft in June. He suffered a scary accident at Lydden at Easter and only a couple of months later he was back, with the same car and the same determined driving style to win on merit. And then to end the year 4th overal, not bad at all

Personally, it was our first win at Knockhill in September (I cried). In our first season: finishing 2nd in stockhatch BTRDA (Congratulations to Rod) & finishing in the top ten, BRDA.
Overall, have to agree with UDB, Dave Bellerby's come back win at Croft after that accident was an inspiration.

Highpoints? Well my personal high points have been all the other marshals I've worked with in rallycross. It's a real team game getting through so many races (50+) in a day. To my mind it doesn't matter how high (CoC) or low (tea maker - grade 1) we all have a part to play. All the cogs have to be in mesh for it to work so one person's contribution is important as the next's and I love being part of that team.

Through bringing two friends to marshal their first ever motorsports events (at Lydden and Brands rallycross) both have been so excited by the sport they have committed to joining the ranks of marshals for next year.

Also a word of thanks to all the rallycross drivers who have so spectacularly entertained us is also in order. Consider yourselves thanked!

Next year? Looking forward to it already. By my reckoning it must be about my 23rd/24th year in rallycross marshalling.....
