My gmap-pedometer tracks

Hello, this is my first post. I will use this thread to post some of my gmap-pedometer street circuit.

First off, this is a street circuit in Ottowa, Canada

Bit disappointed by the lack of comments.

Anyway, here is another circuit in Denmark. I'm not really that happy with this one.

Not sure about the parts of the track running head-on to each other. could you not turn left down Niels Jules Garde and then right on to Havnegarde to pick up the original line of the track over the bridge? that would give you a great spectating spot on the waterfront at Borsgade.

I think that is phisically impossible due the bridge at the intersection, but if it was possible it would be much better.

Also, this is an airport circuit that I could imagine IndyCar racing at.

Your main straight is over 1.2km long into a effectively hairpin... I can't see Indycar running on that sadly.

The Runway straight on the St Petes circuit is just under 700m

But having taken another look around, the Dog-legged Straight at Toronto is 950m or so maybe it would be do able.

Not sure what this area is, but I thought it looked cool so I made a track there.

That last one's absolutely gorgeous! It looks like something out of Forza.

Would love to see that one for real.

Thank you, that is probably the best track I have ever made.

This next circuit is meant to be a permanent circuit based off a design that I drew out of boredom on a year 7 maths book. I didn't know where to put this one so I put it in some random field that I came across.

To reference your sig, this track looks like Tilke took too many hits on the bong, got ultra paranoid, and felt he had to re-do Circuit de Catalunya

In all seriousness, it's a great shape. Very unique. It's like a modern version of Catalunya with a little Hermanos Rodriguez in there.

The only problem is it won't race as you want it to race. Let me explain what I mean a little more..

I used to fall in to this trap. If it LOOKS good, it PLAYS (races) good. Unfortunately, for me, there's too many hairpins in there. Nothing wrong with a 'technical' track, but I think parts of this need to be loosened up, or you'd just get frustrated after a while. Even Tilke's latest tracks has some quicker areas or one or two potentially hair-raising corners, and he doesn't usually overstep 3-4 large hairpins.

I'd like to see a modified version.
