Food for thought - What would 2010 look like under 10-6-4-3-2-1?
I have done some number crunching on this. Comments? Only points-scorers listed in the WDC.
2010 World Driver's Championship Standings after Hungary with 10-6-4-3-2-1 and no dropped scores
2010 World Constructors Championship standings after Hungary with 10-6-4-3-2-1 and no dropped scores
I was going to post what difference two dropped scores would make, but that wouldn't change anything, everyone has two non-points finishes. |

Interesting that the top 6 would be seperated by 30 points where as under the new points scheme its only 20.

That would be 3.0 wins as opposed to 0.8 wins - it's difficult to compare points like that. Under the 25-18-er er can't remember system five drivers are within one win of the leader, under 10-6-4-3-2-1 four are.

I was referring to non-points based on 10-6-4-3-2-1, Jenson Button finished 7th in Bahrain and 8ths in Malaysia and Hungary.
