This feature was originally run in F1 racing a year and a bit ago.
Pretend that all 22 GP drivers were abducted by aliens the week before Melbourne 2001. As Bernie, you have commitments to ensure there's a race, so you need some drivers fast. From any category of present day-racing, who would you put in which cars, and why? |

Dino, nice list but I'd give Raikonnen only ONE seat, perhaps the Jordan one
Id like to see JJ Lehto get another crack at F1 and put him in the second BMW Williams seat. |

Fine Dino, but I'd put the great Pantano in a Ferrari, then Colin McRae in a McLaren. Imagine him in such a car at the Monte Carlo-Grand Prix.......woooooooow!!!!!

No, sorry, you had 2 times Raikkonen, but thank you anyway for the cool topic.

Good but I'd put Burns and McRae in the two Williams (think of the off track possibilities), and I'd like to see the Unscrupulous Capello and the fine upright Ron Fellows in Arrows. Capello can drive anything, and Fellows is a great striver and fun to watch.

ooooh Rally drivers in F1 cars - imagine the donuts they could pull with that kind of power!! of course handbreaks would have to be installed and the co-drivers would have to cling to the air box
