Raven should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pure speculation: Heidfeld/Fisi swap for 2003?

From F1-live.com

According to German publication, Auto Motor und Sport, as well as the RTL network, the plan being put in place at the moment is for Jordan to offer the services of Giancarlo Fisichella in return for Nick Heidfeld, appeasing his German sponsors, but losing the driver he welcomed back to the team so eagerly at the beginning of the year.

An interesting scenario if true, especially for Peter Sauber as it is well known that the team owners dream driver is none other than Giancarlo Fisichella.

Any chance of this happening? EJ admitted in his ITV interview that he is under pressure to have a German driver. Ferrari may be keen to work more closely with Fisichella if the rumours are true about TGF possibly retiring when (not if) he wins his 6th WDC in 2003.

Both teams are likely to be around the same level of performance next year and if there is more money in it for both drivers...

Its an interesting thought, though I am skeptical about ferrari's actual involvemnet with Sauber. Given the conventional wisdom that Ferrari don't want to hire Italian Drivers, it doesn't seem plausible. When you consider that TGF shows no sign of slowing down and calling it a day, i rate this rumour a "Not at all".

Well, no matter what Heidfeld does, he's still stuck in a midfield team....

Yeah I don't expect either side of this to come true. Sauber's statements have been pretty definate about Frentzen joining Heidfeld, Fisichella seems to get on well with EJ, and I'm not convinced that Schumacher will consider retiring after 'only' 6 titles, or that Fisichella would be their first choice, which is unfair as he seems to miss every boat despite only MS and Montoya actually beign much more talented.

Wouldn't surprise me, Talk of Fisi joining Sauber has been around for a while (at Ferrari's request) and does Peter Sauber really want 2 German drivers in his team? (from a marketing point of view i mean)
